Short, hardy micro clover widely used for lawn and ground cover. Lower growing than White Dutch Clover and is comparatively maintenance free. As a micro clover it is commonly used as alternative lawn or ground clover and Aberace is lower growing than many.
Aberace is a perennial clover that grows in Texas. However, like many clovers a hot dry summer will make this a annual plant. Irrigation is important to maintain it during a severe summer in Texas.
It prefers soils in the 6.0 to 7.0 pH range. This clover has great durability under foot traffic and helps provide a weed suppression. Like many clovers, it can be used as a pollinator and has additional benefits to soil and insects.
