This product is a black woven fiber used to contain soil movement off construction sites. Under commercial applications this material will be installed in a 12″ deep trench then covered leaving 24″ above the soil and held up with metal t-posts. Government and high flow areas will have an additional backing of 12ga wire. Sizes and types of silt material vary with the standard stock item being a 500-foot roll on a 3-inch core center.
