Textured all natural feed designed to enhance intake in calves from 3 days of age up to breeding. This should be fed with good quality hay or pasture to maximize growth rate in young calves. This feed is fortified with trace minerals and vitamins for improved health and growth. It is medicated with Bovatec® (Lasalocid) for increased rate of gain and control of coccidiosis.
INGREDIENTS: Grain products, plant protein products, processed grain by-products, dried whey, cane molasses, yeast culture, calcium carbonate, monocalcium phosphate, dicalcium phosphate, salt, magnesium oxide, magnesium sulfate, potassium sulfate, sodium bicarbonate, vitamin A acetate, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, hydrolyzed animal fat (preserved with BHT), silicon dioxide, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of vitamin K activity), vitamin B-12 supple-ment, riboflavin supplement, d-calcium pantothenate, niacin supplement, choline chloride, thiamine mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, folic acid, ethoxyquin (a preservative), ascorbic acid, d-biotin, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, cobalt sulfate, zinc sulfate, artificial flavor, sodium selenite, ethylenediamine dihydrio-dide, ferrous carbonate, ferrous sulfate.
FEEDING DIRECTIONS: For increased rate of gain, feed continuously at a rate of no less than 60 mg (1 3/4 lbs) or more than 200 mg (5 3/4 lbs) of lasalocid/head/day. For control of coccidiosis in cattle up to 800 lbs. of body weight, feed continuously to provide 1 mg per 2.2 lbs of body weight/head/day, not to exceed 360 mg (10 1/4 lbs)/head/day. Provide a source of fresh, clean water at all times. To insure freshness, offer only the amount calves will consume in one day. Clean feeders daily. Store feed in a dry, well ventilated area. Consult your veterinarian for a planned herd health program.
DO NOT FEED MOLDY OR INSECT INFESTED FEED.
WARNING: A withdrawl period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating cattle.
Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
