Straight Nitrogen in the form of Ammonium Sulfate which contains 24% Sulfur. With the Sulfur it will help to lower Ph, control insects and diseases.
Good all round fertilizer analysis. Recommended for newly seeded grasses, gardens and for those who don't know what there soil needs.
Recommended for starter fertilizer and sandy soils top dress fertilizing. Like 12-6-6. But having higher numbers requiring a lower application rate.
This high ration of nitrogen is a starter fertilizer to be used when a second application of Nitrogen is not possible on such things as Sudan.
Starter Fertilizer used in areas with little or no sand. If you have sand than 13-13-13, 10-20-10, 16-8-8 or 30-10-10 would be a better choice. Sandy soils need the last number Potash while most clay soils have some Potash.
