Stiff goldenrod occurs in open woods, glades, thickets and prairies. Features tiny, bright yellow, daisy like flowers in dense, erect, flat-topped terminal clusters. Attractive to bees and butterflies with blooms in late summer to early autumn. Perennial native to eastern United States.
