Medium-dark green color and medium-fine leaf texture. This seeded bermudagrass forms a dense turf and has excellent heat, drought, and wear tolerance. Justin Seed has identified Maya and North Shore as denser than most seed bermudagrass with Princess being the only denser growing turf. Maya is great for the person looking for a lower maintenance but dense growing turf over sod or Princess.
Applications: Maya may be used for sports fields, golf course tees, roughs, fairways, lawns, parks, sod production, cemeteries, and soil stabilization. Maya performs best in full sun.. Maya has early spring green-up and excellent fall color retention.
