Native from Europe to central Asia and one of the most cultivated clovers. Good for mixing into turf if a person likes the present of clover in a yard. Perennial clover that normally is only an annual in Texas. Has been used in fall plantings for erosion control due to its adaptation to several soil types and ability to help improve soils. Arrowleaf clover is another option. Can be used as pasture improvement and wildlife habitat and food plots. Like most clovers it grows slowly in the fall establishing a root and plant structure while producing forage in the spring.
