Mixture of Buffalograss and Blue Grama. Selected for there short growth height these natives are very drought tolerant and should require little or no watering.
Barnyardgrass is a summer annual grass that germinates from late winter or early spring to through the summer.
Good hay, grazing with management. Do not over graze - Prussic Acid Poison.
Tropical to subtropical perennial grass with good forage production in low fertile soils. It creeps with stolons and rhizomes, native to South America, naturalized in North America.
Typically occurs in upland sites on sandy soils in open pastures, borders of woods, and cut woodland pastures. Appearance is similar to Little Bluestem but with split seed head (inflorescence).
Warm season perennial that does well on moist, but well-drained, soils. It is a dense turfgrass.  Can crowd out weeds and bermudagrass.
Generally described as a perennial graminoid. Is native to the Southwest with a long life span and moderate growth rate.
